Our six incredible Urban Nature Advocates (UNAs) are really getting their stride now! The second day was led by KulturNest's Thea Schnering, voice, breath and movement expert.
Thea gently guided us into connection with nature via our breath, bodies and listening skills. Becoming aware of our own bodies inner sounds increased our awareness of the sounds of nature surrounding us in another of Berlin's many beautiful parks.
We rooted with giant oaks, let an ancient cedar tree inspire us and gifted a mandala made from gathered sticks, feathers and seeds back to the park as a thank you.
Each of these tips and tricks are part of how our UNAs are learning how to guide their own groups of young people into deeper connection with nature. They are beginning to develop ideas for their own walks, choose their green locations and think about which 18-25 year olds they will invite to join their walks soon! Let us know if you would like to join!
Your Invitation
We invite you to take some time listening to Nature this week. The birds are getting their voices back after a long winter and it is a wonderful time to listen to the breeze stirring the fresh new leaves.
