Dive Deeper

CivicArt is designed to enhance the capacity of Ukrainian and Georgian youth NGOs in the field of civic education for young people utilising art as an educational medium. By building capacities of youth workers to integrate art into civic education initiatives and fostering international cooperation in the field of youth and non-formal learning, the project aims to use the transformative potential of artistic expression to empower youth to actively shape their futures despite current challenges. As a broader vision, the project empowers youth workers to help young people directly influence processes related to them and society as a whole, fostering their well-being and enabling them to live with dignity in societies where their rights and freedoms are respected.

Next steps:

We are looking forward to welcoming youth workers from Ukraine and Georgia to Berlin for a study visit on artivism practices to raise awareness about practical experience of German colleagues in organising, conducting, and coordinating art-based civic education activities.
