Today, we celebrated International Forest Day!

As part of the "Connecting with Nature"program on TVP3 Poznań, we explored the forest from different perspectives. One of the experts described it as a “sanctuary of life”—a place worth looking into with curiosity and care.

Dagna, KulturNest's founding member, spoke about building a relationship with the forest—how it helps reduce stress, which in turn boosts creativity and learning. I encouraged seeing a visit to the forest not as a task, but as a meeting with someone who asks for our attention, patience, and a slower pace.

We had a great group of experts sharing their insights:

– Jarek Bator from the Oborniki Forest District,

– Andrzej Jagodziński from the Institute of Dendrology PAN,

– Myself, Dagna Gmitrowicz, from KulturNest.org, forest therapy guide.

A big thank you to Małgorzata Krokowska-Paluszak for the invitation!

It was a joy to celebrate this special day together and reflect on the forest’s value—not only for nature but for us as well.
