Who would you like to be for Carnival for the Future?
Imagine your ideal self and bring it to life by transforming old newspapers, fabrics, and everyday objects into wearable art or a character costume for the street.
Please bring along any fabrics, clothes, plastic, paper, or other materials you find inspiring.
Carnival for the Future is a joyful and inclusive parade that unites people and initiatives who believe in the transformative power of art and culture. It celebrates environmental protection and climate justice in a creative, hopeful, and liberating way.
The workshop will be held in English, with some translation available in German and Italian.

Come and discover the Recycled Creativity Festival
Saturday, September 20, from 2 PM to 10 PM at Westfeld Garten (Tempelhofer Feld).
A whole day of workshops dedicated to recycling and creativity!
As Kultur Nest, we will take part with two workshops both from 2 PM to 4 PM:
Sock Puppets – Bring your old socks to life! Give that lonely sock a new personality using reused household materials, and start to play.
Tic Tac Toe – Turn your waste into play! Build your own pocket-sized Tic Tac Toe (Three in a Row) board game from materials that would otherwise end up in the trash.
