An incredible day for Zuhause with the Civic Art study group

What an amazing day it was when we met the Civic Art study group, a bunch of lovely folks from Spain, Ukraine, and Georgia who were traveling through Berlin exploring different local initiatives around artivism.

As Zuhause, we had the chance to welcome them and introduce our project. We also led a creative workshop around some of the questions that are closest to our hearts: How do we feel in public space? And what would it take for it to truly feel like home?

With these questions in mind, we invited everyone to create small framed art pieces—mini installations inspired by their personal experiences and reflections. Then came our favourite part: walking through the neighbourhood together and finding special spots to leave the artworks behind, turning the streets into an open gallery of gentle messages and quiet invitations.

We have already heard that our cooperation inspired the youth workers from the Civic Art teams to initiate their own community changing projects with their young people back in their home towns!

It was such a rich exchange—full of connection, creativity, and care. Definitely a moment to remember!
